This famous Master was born in 1582 in the city of Barn Suanchan (Songkhla
province,
south of Thailand) and showed miraculous signs from the day of his birth.
Amongst other miracles, he had a precious stone in his mouth at birth !
When he was 21, he became a monk at Wat Sri yang, stayed there for 3 years
and then went to Ayuthaya to carry on with his Dharma studies. During his long life, he performed many miracles showing his advanced realisation of esoteric
Dharma, and obtained the title of " Somdej Phra Rajamuni Samiramagunupamacarya" wich is the highest title ever given to a forest monk. He spent his long life teaching the Dharma, and nobody know for sure when he died,
but tradition say he lived a 100 years so he must have died around year 1682.
For decades after his death, he appeared in the dreams of his disciples
and they started to make amulets and statues of him.
This tradition is still alive now after centuries and the LP Thuat amulets are still very thought
after, because when he was still alive, Master Luang Phor Thuat said that he would alway come to
help people praying at his image, and even that in the case of images of him,
blessing and rituals were not necessary, that ANY image of him
would still perform miracles even if made of clay by a lay person !
So it can be safely said that contrary to any other Thai amulets,
there is no such thing as a "fake and powerless" LP Thuat amulet.
If you like and have good feeling with any image of Luang Phor Thuat,
you just have
to wear it with faith and respect to be sure to get his protection.

Many contemporary Thai Masters have great faith in Luang Phor Thuat, and are
making many amulets of him. Some special edition have become extremely famous and expensive.
Amongst other, the Most Venerable LP Dooh was considered as an emanation of LP Thuat
and the amulets he made are very thought after.
Most Venerable LP Tiang of Wat Rakhang (Bangkok) is said to be abble to communicate
with LP Thuat during his meditations, and that a perfume appear spontaneously in the room
where he sit when it happen.
This is the phonetic version of the prayer to LP Thuat :
